Starting January 26th, stablecoin (USDC) payments will be accepted at stores in Haneda Airport Terminal 3.
Starting January 26th, stores in Haneda Airport’s Terminal 3 will be able to accept stablecoin (USDC) payments.
QR codes will be used to demonstrate the service at two stores, supporting inbound tourists.
Japan Airport Terminal Co., Ltd. (Head office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuhito Tanaka) and Netstars Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tsuyoshi Li; hereinafter referred to as “Netstars”) will begin a trial of a payment service using the US dollar-denominated stablecoin “USDC” at some stores in Haneda Airport’s Terminal 3 from January 26th, with the aim of improving convenience for inbound tourists.
Demonstration period:
Monday, January 26, 2026 to Saturday, February 28, 2026
